The first 6 pieces are experiments and the the final three pieces are the outcomes for the translate workshop in which we smelled numerous scents and had to note what they reminded us of, weather that be a time or a place. For me, the smell of the dentists came to mind and it reminded me of being scared to go to the dentist. However, my mother would promise to get me sweets if I did it. The outcomes I created reflect on the the anxiety of going to the dentist and how I wanted sweets as a treat but knew they’d be bad for my teeth too.
